Evening gents
Firstly, it's great to be back here and my thanks go to the Admin of the site for bringing us this temporary Demountable for us to lounge about in :)
On Australia day, myself and two friends spent sometime under 07, and I thought I'd test my modest new camera equipment which I got for Xmas, and boy I wasn't disappointed! I would like to share these for your enjoyment. All shots have been taken on a 18mm wide angle.

I haven't reached the stage of my interest where I recognise individual aircraft, but I'm getting there :D
Enjoy!

Maikha, why don't you have a go at identifying the aircraft in your shots? I'm sure theres plenty of people on this forum that will help you if you get one wrong or don't know it at all.
Cheers
M
PS - Thanks for uploading them, its always great to see shots on the board.

Yes, thanks to the Admin! I just think its more permanent than a 'temporary demountable.' :)

Mark - I can tell between the aircraft (Obviously 737-200's to NGs and that), I mean individual aircraft on registration. I have reached the stage where I can identify individual aircraft and know of it's history. Call me a n00b, but I didn't know the blue DJ 737 was their 50th (Or something).
Brenden - Thanks for clarifying the types
Daniel - I was of the understanding the previous board (With all our accounts, posts, etc) would be returned? Or did I read the admin message wrong?
Thanks fellas for the responses! Look forward to the next time I can return and phot planes, but sadly I return to Wagga tomorrow :(
(But then again, Temora and Lockhart aren't far :D )

Hi Maikha,
Unfortunately all previous accounts and post counts will not be maintained or transferred, however when the time comes, we may consider merging some of the older thread content from the previous forum. Though this layout and url will remain the new home, as opposed to it being temporary :)
Cheers.

Hey hey! There's plenty to photograph in WGA! All those Rex Saabs will pass through there some time or another. Not too mention all the new B+'s coming from the Nashville with US rego's on them. ;)

Hi David,
Is Rex having another Wagga Wagga Open Day this year?

I recently did WGA-SYD return on a B+ each way. Interior is quite nice compared to a A version I recently did a WGA-SYD leg on.
Good to see another member from WGA Maikha. However, in three weeks I will be headed to CNS permanently for work... A bit more to spot up there :)
I'd say that if there was to be an open day at WGA, it would probably want to wait until the airport construction works are complete...

Hi All
I have been out to the local airport at Forest Hill a number of times to pick people up off flights (And abit of spotting), as I have quite a soft spot for turbo props, especially the SAABs! Only issue is, I don't have a big enough lens to be able to photograph them, and the airport is abit far from where I live in town.
I was in Cootamundra today, and thought it was quite intriguing seeing all these Ultralights fly around however :D

Monty, I'll forget you even said that! Just so you know, they don't allow old XD Falcon's driving around up there with ya cousin in the back! :D

Amsy,
The open day in '07 was in Maryborough and this year I am yet to hear when and where it is going to be held. Usually around Sept time like in '06. Will keep you posted.
