lloyd,
Nice shots, Have you heard anything about SF34 VH-BCP (ex.JA8900) ? It was added to reg in August. TIA |
Negative Greg but the American company that bought the Saab has it's Australian office here in BNE.I thought it may find it's way to Brissie and i am always looking out for it,however nothing at this stage Sorry!.
Cheers.:) |
Thks, lloyd.
I see from your shots that Clives AF is still in residence . |
Yes Greg all down the southern end with the 727 and 757 and all the other magic aircraft
parked there including the Dutch F70 and Helvetic etc. We finally have VH-QQW due in just over a hours time This is the aircraft that is in the "100 Years England-Australia flight" livery! It will be it's first visit to YBBN since it was painted in that scheme. The sky however is horrendous today with smoke. |
thks Lloyd,
Keep safe with the fires. Alliance were going to do a re-enactment of the 100th Anniversary. Haven't heard anything since the announcement earlier this year. |
3 pics today .Some slightly out of focus due to the smoke.Air quality worse than Beijing today i heard on radio.3rd pic was good.
It really was a shocker today.I'd say 3-4km visability.:( https://www.flickr.com/photos/794876...h/49047316902/ |
VH-QQW...VH-KBX and Helvetic F100 ..VH-VKQ today at BNE.
https://www.flickr.com/photos/794876...in/dateposted/ 5 pics pls use right arrows thanks. |
Lloyd - do you see the Queen being used, or just stored due to lackof VIP config charters?
|
Kent ... Is KBX you are talking about? has done 2-3 flights in the past year including the Pacific and NZ i think??? However not too often.
The most movement it does is being shuttled around the airport.Ha Ha. Alliance do many charters for the JTB taking Japanese tourists to the Rock and even NZ but never uses VH-KBX so mayby the config is the reason?:) |
