Does anyone know how long VH-VZC will be in Sydney maintenance for given it was apparently the tail was damaged shown on QF secrets exposed Facebook page? I assume it will also be refurbishment at the same time?

VZC has been refurbished already. I think you are referring to VYC which is still in service as of today.

Oh yes so it has, VH-VZC is just getting its tail repaired.
|
VXN, XZF and XZA have been reconfigured to 12J/162Y since the last update.
|
VH-XZI has returned from refurbishment operating QF512 (SYD-BNE). This makes 51/67 completed at a total of 76%. VH-XZP (Retro roo 1) looks to be in for refurbishment. It's the only non refurbished 737 that is in Sydney and hasn't flown since last night.
VH-VZC is still in SYD for tail repairs. VH-VYC is in BNE for refurbishment and presumably a heavy maintience check. This makes VH-VXM the last remaining non refurbished non AVOD 737 operating. |
It seems as if the Jet-Connect Tans tasman b737 fleet is getting a refurb. In the Qantas 737 seat map page there is a new link http://www.qantas.com/infodetail/fly...8J-12J162Y.pdf
ZK-ZQD is listed on its own in a new 12J/162Y configuration. It is currently in Brisbane maintence. |
Good to see the QF jetconnect aircraft also getting the new seat covers etc.
This will mean identical config for all QF B73Hs. |
XZI left SYD after reconfig and XZP entered today.
|
ZK-ZQD is operating a test flight as QF6117
