While it doesnt seem like there have been many flights, a quick look on FR24 shows that there have been a at least two - 8IB operated VA1384 on 28FEB24 and 8IC VA1388 on 16MAR24.

Does anyone know what the test registrations for 8IB and 8ID were? 8IA, C, and F all used “N4022T” as a test registration, but I’m not sure about the others.

They all wore their VH rego for their flights.

Virgin B737-8 MAX, VH-8IG, MSN 66648/8905 (callsign BOE007) is currently operating its first flight from RNT to BFI on 24/5/24.

Total flight time was 2 hours 30 minutes.

Now I'm wondering what happened to 8IE ?

Lauren,

Have a look at the link below for Test Regs.

You may find that Boeing has a block of Test regs that it uses repeatedly.

N4022T seems to be the flavour of the month/year.

Boeing may allocate a reg to a frame and not use it.

Earlier Boeings types flew with test regs before being added to the local register.

VH-8IG has had a second test flight as BOE007 lasting 01:00

Nice shots of 8IG flying but can't zoom up to read the name.
