Re OEJ flightaware actually has it positioned to DFW which suggests there was no QF7 on the day of the PHX flight and OEJ will ops QF8

EK414 today is showing as arriving 7 or so hours late tomorrow at 6.05am, though seemed to leave Dubai with only a 17 minute delay. Did it have an unscheduled stopover en route?

G-STBJ, British Airways latest B777 is on its way to Singapore as BA15, so it should arrive Sydney tomorrow. source: FR24
