You can always get some nice sunrise shots at this time of year Chris. I've often thought things like the silhouette of the control tower or the container terminal would make cool shots with a rising sun.

Damn, well I was just waking up when she would've got airborne so missed it completely. I did contemplate battling the traffic to get there, but yeh, a 5am wakeup on a Monday - :(

Oh come on Chris, where's your stamina???:D :D i was on 3 hours sleep... but I am supposed to be working (tradesman in to repoint/tuckpoint the house), otherwise I would have gone in....

I don't trust waking up so I usually don't go to bed all night then go to the airport. I went to see the An-124 with no sleep at all, definately worth it :)

Heading to PER 1am tomorrow morning. Just browsing this aircraft was the same one recently in Darwin so it flew SIN-DRW-NOU-SYD-MEL, seams like a weird route to it wasn't stuck in NOU, it couldn't get in I guess.
