O/T: All of you HSC Students...

Well, last week of study is upon us (finally!), so good luck to everyone and study hard!

It's just like any other assessment...kind of.

I am very dissappointed in myself

Chris W 12th October 2008 09:10 PM

Don't worry...after they are all over in November you will look back and think, what a complete waste of time those exams were and it was not worth the hype that is forced upon you.

Good luck all end of school people anyway!

Tim Bowrey 12th October 2008 09:25 PM

I have studyied heaps:S Matt you should be study too. I have been at the airport probably at least 3 times longer than i have been studying i think. Is that a bad thing?

Yea i realized that early on during year 12 so i was well and truly relaxed by the time the HSC came around and it got me what I wanted to do and more. No point pulling your hair out about it I think.

Good luck though!

All the best for those who still have exams and for your results too:)

Nick W. 15th December 2008 07:39 PM

Good luck all with the results this week all over Aust and NZ!

Let us all know how you went!

NickN 16th December 2008 08:49 AM

I can't keep count of how many "failures" from my high school class now earn far more than the smart kids who went to university.

It's not the end of the world if you don't get the right marks. I didn't get the marks I needed to get into the uni course I desired so I went into the workforce and by the time my friends had graduated from their 5 year courses I was earning top dollar in management. Hard work and effort can replace a uni degree.

Some of my mates who took up apprenticeships have made a killing in their chosen fields.

Russell D 19th December 2008 08:25 AM

Congrats to everyone and I hope you all got what you were hoping for (or close enough to it if possible).

All the best, enjoy yourselves, and stay safe.

Cheers
