Sq 219

Afternoon all,

SQ219 tonight will be operated by an A380. It arrives at 2034. Unsure of Rego.

Ken K 16th November 2008 07:18 PM

Rego is 9V-SKC.

Grahame Hutchison 16th November 2008 07:36 PM

From www.16Right.com ACARS ....

9V-SKC SQ0219 16/11/2008 20:20 Singapore Airlines A380-841 <----- Singapore-Sydney

Nigel C 16th November 2008 07:44 PM

In case anyone missed it, the rego of tonight's extra Dugong is 9V-SKC.

Here's the proof!

I wasnt sure until the 4rd post:D It was the one that sold it.

phil.l 16th November 2008 08:06 PM

But whats the rego of the diver?

James Smith 16th November 2008 08:25 PM

VH-DAN for diver Dan! :p

phil.l 16th November 2008 08:36 PM

James thought he was German, D-IVER

Grahame Hutchison 16th November 2008 10:08 PM

Further attempts to identify which Dugong was operating SQ219
tonight have resulted in confusion, as there appears to be two
Dugongs with the same registration. CASA Vets have been called
in to take specimens for testing to determine the correct registration.

David M 17th November 2008 05:43 PM

Just goes to show... even if you get two dugongs next to each other... they don't look any better!

What would the collective noun for a group of Dugongs be??

A fugly of dugongs perhaps?

Grahame Hutchison 17th November 2008 05:54 PM

An AIRBUS of Dugong maybe !

If the Japanese would eat them, instead of whales and dolphins, the 9V-SKC identity crisis would disappear.

Stefan Perkas 21st November 2008 06:08 PM

Evening all,

SQ219 tonight will be operated by a 777-200. Reg. is unknown but there are 3 different blocks SR, SQ and SV blocks of the 200's

phil.l 21st November 2008 07:30 PM

9v-srl b777-212

Stefan Perkas 21st November 2008 09:05 PM

Evening all,

Just a question, is this the first SR' block to operate a Singapore-Sydney flight?

phil.l 21st November 2008 09:36 PM

Stefan just looked back in my logs and i haven`t logged a SR? rego in Sydney ,but thats not to say one hasn`t been in before.

Stefan Perkas 21st November 2008 11:29 PM

Evening all,

Another question is, Does anyone no why the 772 is on this flight tonight and operating SQ220 tomorrow morning? Also the A380 operated this flight early in the week what was the reason for that?

Grahame Hutchison 22nd November 2008 07:02 AM

Stefan and Phil,

I checked my ACARS aircraft database and I have logged the following :

9V-SQF B777-212(ER)

9V-SRC B777-212(ER)
9V-SRI B777-212(ER)
9V-SRL B777-212(ER)

and 15 from the SV block.

Mike W 22nd November 2008 07:44 AM

Benny Zheng 22nd November 2008 08:36 AM

Here is a image from a recent photo shoot I did at the Dugong manufacturers headquarters in Totaloose (pronounced Toulouse) in France.

It's easy to see where the Dugong gets it's stunning good looks from, there is a very strong heritage in the family tree, the breeding gene pool they have to work with must be a little shallow. Although, I would have to admit that the little brothers and sisters are cute.

phil.l 22nd November 2008 02:51 PM

Grahame are you saying that all this aircraft listed have been into Sydney?? or on your acars.

Grahame Hutchison 22nd November 2008 03:22 PM

Phil, These have all been picked up on my Sydney ACARS but I forgot to filter the query on YSSY as the arrival or departure airport.

SQ0297 and SQ298 are the Singapore-Christchurch sectors.
SQ0281 is Singapore-Auckland
SQ0245 is Singapore-Brisbane
SQ0235 is Singapore-Brisbane
SQ0237 is Singapore-Melbourne

9V-SQA flights were all to or from New Zealand.

So that leaves only

SQ0219 Singapore-Sydney on the 21/11/2008

phil.l 22nd November 2008 03:31 PM

cheers Grahame .

Stefan Perkas 27th November 2008 11:18 PM

Evening all,

Tonights SQ 219 was operated by 9V-SYH a 777-300.

Benny Zheng 28th November 2008 08:38 AM

Here's SYH. Horrible weather this morning.

Tim Bowrey 28th November 2008 06:04 PM

Haha another nice one Benny, you were standing right next to me when you took that;) Too but for the dull weather:(

Tim

Michael Cleary 28th November 2008 06:09 PM

SQ seem to have only 14 744's now - a shortage of aircraft, combined with low loads perhaps is causing these substitutions?

Tim Bowrey 28th November 2008 06:51 PM

Not complaining. Its great to have a better variety rather than the 2 744's in the morning dont you think? :D

Tim

You were next to me Tim ? Gosh.. Which one is you? Apology for not introducing myself...

matthew mcdonald 4th December 2008 09:18 AM

Tim's car was the small white one parked up on the hill. Blake Riley was the very tall person, I was the person sitting in the back seat of his car and Tim was the person over the driver's side of his car. That is the best way I can describe us as I can't remember what we were wearing.

Benny Zheng 4th December 2008 12:17 PM

Haha ok. Got to say hello next time i see you guys :D.

Wenglock M 11th December 2008 12:59 AM

Guys,

Just a heads up - 9V-SYG (777-312) came in tonight as SQ219, and will depart tomorrow morning as SQ220.

Cheers,
Wenglock.

Stefan Perkas 25th March 2009 03:28 PM

Afternoon all,

Sorry to bring this thread back up but SQ219 will be operated by a 777-200 tonight. I am unsure which block (SR, SQ or SV) it will be operated by.

Brandon Giacomin 25th March 2009 07:06 PM

9V-SQN is the rego.

phil.l 25th March 2009 08:27 PM

Dont be sorry Stefan, always good to hear/see that a different aircraft coming into Sydney, keep the posts coming. cheers.

Stefan Perkas 13th April 2009 02:03 PM

Afternoon all,

SQ219 tonight will be operated by a 777-300. It will be an 9V-SY* series -300. I can also tell you it wont be 9V-SYI as that operated SQ237-238 SIN-MEL-SIN today.

phil.l 13th April 2009 02:19 PM

Stefan is SQ219 the overnight service?

matthew mcdonald 13th April 2009 02:23 PM

It sure is.
