Can anyone identify the aircraft i saw this morning. Up high with trail heading east somewhere near Kiama, wollongong. Got a pic of it and seems to be a virgin aircraft. But very blurred pic.

Just curious that is all, as we don't get that very often down the south coast.

A couple of possibilities depending on their actual track ...

Due from Cebu at around 1700 is Gulfstream 4 N620JH.

Graeme, a question about the GA traffic that shows up on your ACARS, will there be a time where it shows the route that the aircraft is flying ? Guess im asking from a flight sim point of view.

Mark, I think the answer is unfortunately no. These jets are either private or corporate and they generally like to keep route details quiet. Unlike airlines who have a defined set of routes where the flight numbers can be entered into the ACARS system for each sector, corporate jets can go anywhere at any time so it is a little pointless for them.

Some times they mention route details in ACARS text messages, or transmit the waypoints for their route, however in general they transmit very little on ACARS.
