|
Hi Robert,
No need to apologise,I for one am very interested,as i'm sure others would be too. Thank you for posting. Cheers Jim |
LV-VCD will be a real treat for the Melb spotters :)
|
BA8357 may arrive early in the morning sometime depending on turnaround time in its fuel stop(It appeared to decend into DXB or SHJ). Not long after departure from EMA it was flying in a similar position to BA15 which arrives at 7am.

Cargolux 748F
told there may be an aircraft change on the cargolux 748F on friday, still down as a 748F though.the Malaysian has been changed as expected to Air France. will inform all of regs as and when known
|
thx for your help!
Would you have any arr times into Avalon? |
Just advised by a spotter from England it went to Singapore and given its departure time from SIN should be arriving about 8:30am. Nothing confirmed though.
|
Due 0800 from SIN, out 2100 to HKG.
|
G-GSSD is to the west of Adelaide at 37,000
|
Now due 9:30am.
|
G-GSSD 747-8F arrived at AVV on runway 18 around 09.27am. It was clearly visible from the viewing car park at Tullamarine for the two of us who had the time to chase it this way. Roll on the Cargolux !
Thanks again Robert for the info. |

|
What location did you take yours Luke, inside the terminal?
|
Any further updates on the remaining aircraft? And to Lukas and Brian, great shots of the BA aircraft.
Cheers Jim |
Jim,
Morning all, If it helps some people... There is a Cargolux flight (CV895) showing on Hong Kong arrivals at 0545(Hong Kong TIme) on Sunday morning. Which would mean a ROUGH departure time from Avalon of 2300 on Saturday evening. The arrival time would be I guess some time tomorrow morning... |
CARGOLUX 748
Cargolux 748 confirmed as LX-VCB
due into East Midlands at 0906 and scheduled to depart at 1105 will post shots from EMA later |
Any arr time into AVV!
|
That BA 748 is stunning..............
|
All,
LX-VCB is currently showing on Plane Finder FL300 NW of Luxembourg, looks to be heading toward the UK. With the remaining flight time and loading to follow, surely the A/C will arrive well after 1900 AVV time saturday? james |
Yes im looking at a 3 hour turn around!
|
Could be some interesting light for the arrival if it is the same weather as currently. Assuming the flight is not delayed of course. Hopefully someone gets some nice shots, I doubt I'll make it out to AVV :(
|
I'm assuming that the other flights that Robert mentioned. i.e the other Cargolux 744 flight and the Malaysian/Air France and Cathay flights are still coming too???
Cheers Jim |
I will bring you the shots, if someone could bring me the times ;)
|
Evening all,
http://www.jetspotter.com/forum/phpB...101695#p101695 saying that an Etihad Cargo is due into Melbourne (Tullamarine) tomorrow. I have since found that... Hong Kong Airport arrivals board is showing an Etihad Cargo (EY9866) due into there from melbourne (Tullamarine) at 1825(HK time) on Sunday evening. Which would make a a departure time from melbourne around 11am (Rough estimate). As for arrival time I can only guess of Saturday evening or early Sunday morning. Not sure what aircraft type it is... |
LX-VCB 747-8F Cargolux has just left East Midlands as CLX894 (around 12.35pm local time), so assuming a 2 hour refueling stop somewhere in the Far East, we are looking at an AVV arrival time of around 20.00pm Saturday night. Doesn't look as if it is staying long either.

LX-PCV 747-400F Cargolux. CLX730 coming via SIN.
B-HUO 747-400F Cathay Paific. CPA014. 9M-MPR 747-400F Malaysia. MAS6427. Only one on Planefinder at 09.25am local was 9M-MPR which was overflying Budapest. There is nothing on Ninervictor yet to confirm that either Cargolux's are stopping there. Updates later. Big thanks to Robert for sharing this info so quickly. |
The Etihad Cargo flight is EY9865 due into MEL from AUH via KUL at about 2215 tonight and out to HKG at 1215 tomorrow.
Type is still unknown at this stage. |
EY Cargo scheduled to arrive into Mel around 22:50, will land a little before that time though :D
|
Looks like it could be World Airways N279WA operating the Etihad flight. Currently operating EY9864 on it's way to Kuala Lumpur
|
You're correct Daniel, I forgot to mention its a World MD11 in my last post :o
|
Is this Etihad Cargo flight to do with the F1 as well?
Cheers Jim |
All,
Plane finder is now showing VCB between Penang and KUL. If it is stopping in SIN I can't see it being at AVV before dark tonight. Shame! James |
