SQ231/222 is being operated by 9V-SYE (Star Alliance) today (4/8/12)

Atlas 763 back 6 Aug at 1030 out at 1230 to ADL.

Now due at 0630 according to FlightAware. Operated by N640GT which is the same aircraft that was here last month.

Now enroute PHNL-YSSY, ETA 0730h

JAL's new livery debuts in Sydney today,

JA707J (Former OneWorld livery) is operating JAL771/772 today. This plane has a small special decal called 'contrail' also.

Singapore's latest A380, 9V-SKS operated SQ221 today

SQ,s 773 9V-SYL was in MEL today now in Star Alliance livery,it should visit SYD as well.

SQ211 (14Aug) will arrive this evening operated by 9V-SYL (in the sanctioned albino Star Alliance livery)...

Which should leave tomorrow morning (15Aug) as SQ212. :)

9V-OTD is operating Scoot 01/02 today (17/8/12). First visit by my books....

Morning all,

TG475/476 is operated by HS-TGY. This was the last Thai aircraft in old livery and is the only aircraft in service which has the brand new stunning F class suites I believe.

Strictly a rego chaser movement as it will be it's first visit since 2008.

VH-YIO 737-800W VA is on its way in from BNE as DJ914. This will be her 1st visit to SYD.

New Tiger A320 VH-VNQ looks to have entered service to. It opeated a couple of MEL-SYD-MEL services yesterday. Today it is scheduled to go MEL-OOL-SYD.

According to flightaware 9V-SKS was in on 10, 11 and 18 Aug. 10/8 (dept SIN 9/8) seems to have been its first revenue service.

Nice surprise a few mins ago, Royal Thai AF A319 HS-TYR flew overhead heading towards SYD VOR. Must have been at Richmond as i noticed at 3700' on my SBS-1 earlier.

Checked the SBS database and it has been at Richmond since Monday afternoon! I was going to go yesterday as there was a C-5 Galaxy I needed there.

Peter is the C-5 still there at Richmond ?

Nope Jaryd, it left yesterday just before midday. We've had a few lately (as well as the C-17's) and they go to Brisbane after Richmond usually.

A RAAF C-130J just landed 34L.

There was some movement at Richmond today.2 RAAF C130's,A single Hawk,USAF C17,2 PC-9's and a RAAF Challanger.:)

Both the Kiwi Herc and RAAF J model ended up at Sydney. Kiwi should be just about off the ground, and the RAAF one shouldn't be too far behind.

Evening all,

Making its 1st visit to Sydney tonight operating the Polar Air flight was N477MC.

This is a recent re-addtion to the Atlas fleet, the airframe itself was orginally with Atlas as N494MC and then was re-registerd G-GSSC with Global Supply Systems. Then was brought back to Atlas Air as N477MC in February 2012.

VH-INU on approach into SYD as RON 901.

Is now heading to BNE as RON920.

If you missed this one last time, then it's here again overnight and will leave on Monday

Not really worthy of a thread, but if you are in Darwin from Thursday on there will be a couple of B-52's and a KC-135 based there for a couple of days from Anderson AFB. They will be conducting bombing runs to Delemare WR, at this stage the RAAF website says only one was scheduled but I was told there would be two...

And a KC-10 as well, subject to change at any stage...

PAC242 is being operated by N450PA, full Polar Air Cargo livery.

Only the 2nd visit of a aircraft not in Atlas Air livery and the 1st visit of the full Polar Air Cargo livery since they returned this year.

If anyone was out this morning, JetStar A320, VH-VQR was in SYD still wearing a special logo for the New Zealand Olympic team.
