Spotting on the water at Botany Bay?

Does anyone know of a boat hire place (tinny, runabout, or whatever) around Botany Bay for a day on the water with some photography and spotting?

I've always thought photos from the water at the end of the main runway (directly under the flight path) would look amazing.

The basic idea (hiring a boat) has been done before! Though not aligned with the centreline, by the look of it:

Incidentally, searching for photos from Sydney on 31 May 2003 brings up several from well-known Sydney identities of that era... ahh the memories!

If you're on a boat directly under the flight path, your view of the runway is absolutely zero. There's a ~6m high rock wall that extends right around the southern end of the Hook, so chances are you won't even see the aircraft begin to flare.

You won't want to pick a day that the wind changes and the only active runway is E-W.
