VKG has been doing daily crew training/refresher flights over Melbourne for the last week

Sydney - Avalon start back up shortly.

VKL ops MEL-PER-SIN yesterday, 1st time JQ 788 into Perth. Will be weekly on Thursday.

The BNE airport schedules have JQ 788 Cargo flights starting this month BNE-AKL and BNE-NRT once weekly as well.:)

VH-YXS, the first of the 4 ex-GK aircraft recently added to the JQ fleet, operated its first revenue flight today as JQ696 OOL HBA

VKG has operated PAX services since JQ520 from MEL-SYD on 16/12/21, Greg. It then operated the MEL-CNS-MEL-OOL-MEL rotation from 17/12/21-19/12/21 but returned to MEL on 20/12/21 on its way to CNS and hasn't flown since.

I presume it must be intended to join the Jetstar Australia fleet together with 9V-JSP. |

Reallocation of Jetstar international aircraft to optimise domestic capacity in 2H22 — 787-8 deployment from Jetstar AU International and A320s from Jetstar New Zealand — 5 x A320 from Jetstar Asia — 2 x A320 from Jetstar Japan (total of 6 by FY22 |
Another in quick succession, VH-VKD has positioned ASP SYD as JQ7997
