As many of you might have noticed, notification of new private messages is a little insidious using the default settings (you have to notice the 'x Unread' count in the top right corner of the screen).

The Board has a useful feature whereby it can display a popup / dialogue box whenever a new Private Message is received. This can be activated by going into your Control Panel, selecting 'Edit Options', and activating the 'Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up' option under 'Private Messaging'.
