We seem to forget that QF B734F VH-XMB was retired in Sept. 2022
VH-XMB was a 300, the former VH-TAG for TN/QF, and was 37 years old when retired.

Remember the youngest 73H flying is VH-XZP is only 8 years old so you would think we will still see them flying in QF colours of some description well into the 2030s

I stand corrected.

Does anyone know when the second B717 will be retired ?

First 737 retirement is 2025 with half the fleet staying beyond 2030

Yes, around half the fleet is only 10-15 years old. Those delivered 20+ years ago will be the first to go.

I think XMO is now gone as N422AY if my memory is correct.

James Smith 28th March 2024 07:46 AM

Brenden, from the QF Freight Movements thread, VH-XMO (ex VH-TAW) is now N488AY and left our shores on 15/1/24.

Thanks.
I think XML has now been retired.
