In 1979 I flew Hobart to Wynward (Burnie) on Air Tasmania, Piper Navajo VH-TVD.

Memorable trip as my bag got stuck in the wing storage when I arrived in Burnie.

Whilst looking at the website " airline timetable images " noticed their was once a service between Goulburn and Sydney by Thomas Air Transport Systems. Timetable dated 1981. Wonder how long it lasted and what aircraft they used. They also did Swan Hill to Sydney.

I think you will find that is the airline that John Thomas (Virgin Australia) owned before he went to the USA.

Can anyone remember a time when Impulse airlines served Sydney/Wollongong and Newcastle/Wollongong? Looking at a route map from airline timetable images it shows that these services existed.

It was in 1999 and I was an FO with them at the time.
