With EK commencing A380 ops we have had 6 different frames(including today 10OCT) A6-EEK,EEG,EDM,EDN,EDY,EDZ Lynden Herc N403LC OPERATED bne-hir-bne. Our Airline VH-PNI returned from MEL and went into service BNE-INU.Actually all 3 aircraft were in BNE on that day. Virgin A330 VH-XFH arrived 6 Oct from MEL and went into service BNE-PER that evening. N363PJ Lear 36 arrived 06 Oct Legacy VH-VLT arrived 8 Oct. FA7X N163FJ arrived from SIN ON 09October. During this period Falcon 900's N970SF and N980SF did some flights to Gladstone. VH-XZI Qantas 737-800 first visit yesterday. |

Volga Dnepr IL-76 RA-76503 the highlight so far arrived as VDA 6390 from SIN-DRW on the 10th.This aircraft is still at BNE . B250 demonstrator N175EU arrived on the 10th. Aircalin operated a daylight A330 flight on Sunday with F-OJSE N834BA arrived 14 Oct from HNL and departed to NRT .It is a BBJ. Emirates have now sent in A6-EDC and EDO during this week being first timers to BNE. 14 Oct B1900 VH-RUE returned to BNE after several weeks away.It went back into Fifo to Barcaldine. |

Yesterday G5 N235DX Today QF 108 LAX-SYD diverted to BNE. Volga Dnepr IL-76 still here. |

The IL-76 departed on 31 October to SIN after a 3 weeks stay. Garuda sent in 3 first timers during this past week. PK-GFZ,GFY,GFU. RAAF A330 MRTT A39-002 and A39-005 both departed last week. Emirates sent in first time A380 today A6-EEO Mach Jet B200 VH-MWZ has full titles on it. Plenty of biz in past week F-ONNY ,N899NC,VH-OVE ,B-LOL,N661CP,N146EX,VH-VVI,VH-JCX,VH-PSU,VH-SGY,P2-ANW. Alliance Fokker 50 been busy this week. Cathay Cargo 744F B-HUL was in. 2 Canadian Air Tractors also arrived and departed. Cheers. |

There was a mayday call, aircraft was put back into the arrival sequence and landed. Fire trucks were present on arrival but I believe it taxied under its own power to the bay.

I reckon it would be to do with storms from Sydney on Friday night. Use the spare B737-800's that would operate the flights to clear the back log.

China Airlines start using Boeing 747-400s to Brisbane from tomorrow. B-18203 will operate tomorrows flight according to flightaware. This aircraft is in a special livery called "Jimmy Hug and Love".

EK434 BNE-AKL damaged the runway on takeoff this morning. RWY19 was closed for arrivals. Now re-opened but with a displaced threshold. Landing distance available is about 2500m. Word is that QF15 and VA7 to LAX today will go via Sydney as they won't be able to takeoff with full fuel to LAX.

ZB002 should be the test aircraft .I have been thinking about this for past 2 weeks and i think ETA BNE should be just after 11am .3 hrs from AKL, and BNE is not on daylight savings.ETD AKL is 11am which is 8am BNE time.

The 757 of PX is in Air Niugini titles with the Bird of Paradise logo on the tail and the engine cowlings are yellow livery.
Flights did commence 09 Jan as expected. The past few days have seen 2 USAF KC10's.86-0031 AND 37. Singapore Cargo 744F 9V-SFF operated AKL-BNE-SIN on 18 Jan. |
