YSSY spotting weekend
 

After a discussion on facebook, who is up for a good ol YSSY spotting weekend?

I'm in.
Will be my first spotting weekend, so will really be looking forward to it.

Let's settle on a date and then get Sydney Airport on board. The one we had on 24/12/17 starting in their penthouse overlooking T1 was excellent.

Would love to join again!! Hope that it will be in April or May!

Like to be part of it, in Sydney on Monday's for work until late May so weekends would work well.

I would love to be there. It would also be great if somebody like Wings over Illawarra, or another airshow, would let us get up closer to the action, even for an hour or two. Just dreaming out loud.

Air shows are good, but busy YSSY is better!

We just have to set a date and get in touch with Sydney airport folk. Kurt Ams is the man for that.

Are there any further details or updates on this planned weekend? I haven't attended a spotters weekend before. I'm currently in the US and will be here for a while longer, but I'll be staying at the new TWA Hotel at New York's JFK airport in a couple of days. The hotel is a top location for spotting.
