VH-QOD is still in Hamburg at the moment, but should be flying onto Toulouse any day now, so within the next few days should be on its way to delivery to QF after pre delivery inspections.

Apologies i am sure you all know what i meant.
Flight to TLS looks like being pushed back to late this week/Monday. So I wouldn't expect the delivery flight until the last day or so into Australia. Still too early to say, cannot get reasons for delay.

Mid August.

Delays have once again pushed delivery. It will most likely be delivered on the 13 or 14th of August.

My birthday present - how nice! But will it alleviate the Queue Future?

Terminal 1 in Melbourne seems to have had inordinately long queues at security screening since the weekend - is that QF staffing or Melbourne Airport or who? On Sunday there were three lines each up to 100 metres long. It took me 28 mins to get to the x-ray conveyor - luckily I had plenty of time. A colleague had a similar experience yesterday afternoon. Previously I've only had that kind of thing in the US.

Current sources are still delivery is for August 26th.
