Departed Perth YPPH for YSSY,Sydney is Emerites Sky Cargo B77L, Hex 896170, Boeing 777-F1H, A6-EFJ, Fl 9826, ex Dubai, Sin, Per-Syd at 0951 WST, est flighttime 3 hr 40 mins. cheers

The Rolling Stones are travelling on an Aeronexus B762ER which is departing Singapore on Mar 16 bound for PER. Looks like it will be reaching SYD for their concerts as well.

Love the photos Bernie... was really hoping to be there for its arrival but couldn't make it... fingers crossed for tomorrow's departure maybe!

Agreed, The second night shot is impressive

One of my favourite angles at Sydney, if you can get in tight enough on a good day and catch the jet wash - just a bit to hot on Saturday (HL7596).

QF6031 just took off for Phoenix (VH-OEJ). What's the story?

My guess is some kind of charter linked to the visiting Arizona Diamond back baseball team , who I believe have their home base in Phoenix AZ..

I believe both the MLB teams came out here on separate QF charters.

QF6033 , VH-OEH departed SYD about 2115hrs to LAX on the other MLB charter .

There are reports (on Flightaware) that VH-OEJ will be heading the storage/scrap yard after this flight!

And my built in BS meter just went into overdrive!!!

On a side note, three United 744s tomorrow, UAL840 diverted to CBR due SYD wx and she is yet to leave here!

Re OEJ flightaware actually has it positioned to DFW which suggests there was no QF7 on the day of the PHX flight and OEJ will ops QF8

EK414 today is showing as arriving 7 or so hours late tomorrow at 6.05am, though seemed to leave Dubai with only a 17 minute delay. Did it have an unscheduled stopover en route?

UAE414 went via Singapore.

Thanks James. There was another shot that was probably better than this one, but it didn't show anything particularly 'Sydney' in the shot (I'm presuming that's why it didn't get a run?).
