When will the DJ/NZ Aus domestic codeshare flights open for booking?

I was wondering if someone on this forum can help me with some information.

I will be booking my flights back to Australia from the US at the end of the year to renew my visa and plan to book Air New Zealand routing (including codeshare flights) as follows:

Segment 1:
LAS-SFO-SYD

Segment 2:
SYD-ADL

Segment 3:
ADL-AKL-LAX-LAS

On the travel agent website that our company uses that we book from, the Virgin Australia SYD-ADL flights appear as Air New Zealand code share flights as well. But both the DJ and NZ flight sector says "Quote for price" whereas the international sectors are priced. When selecting all the segments anyway, I get a message that one or more of the sectors cannot be booked. However, I can select a SYD-ADL QF flight in the booking and it goes through.

The booking system appears to be Sabre. Is it a case of the flights are currently being loaded but not yet bookable? If so, does anyone know when I can book the SYD-ADL sector at an NZ codeshare flight? It doesn't even allow it as a DJ flight in the booking either.

Any advice or information would be much appreciated.

Cheers.

All codeshare flights are now for sale on the respective airlines' websites, so they have definitely started codesharing for domestic flights. As for travel agents, I'm sorry but I can't help you there

Thanks Brock. I'll be booking sometime next week, so if I still have trouble on the travel agent website that we use, I'll give them a call.

Hi Jamie,

I don't work for a travel agency, but for work related travel we book it ourselves through our travel agent's web portal. If I still can't book those flights when I finalize my bookings, I'll give them a call and let them know they are bookable elsewhere as everyone's posts have suggested.
