"you could say I went to Willie to see a fokker but come back with a wedgetail"

Nice! I live near the willie airport and the wedgetail and other military aircraft make a scene flying over my school :D

Brock Little 17th February 2012 09:15 PM

Looks like you got the better out of the two!

Bernie P 18th February 2012 07:41 AM

Nice shot Chris - you could say you got the fokker anyway!!! :D:D

Thanks Chris for the photo of N364BJ. According to my database that should become A30-006 when accepted by the RAAF. The last of the new Wedgetails.

It's like the BBC radio interviewing and Irish spitfire pilot in the Battle of Britain...

'So, how many jerries did you get today, Paddy?' he asked.

'Dare were fokkers everywhere...first oi shot der tail off a fokker, den oi shot der left wing off anudder fokker, den one of der fokkers got on moi tail before I shook im loose and shot dat fokker down...'

Clearly confused, the BBC guy asked, 'But I didn't think Fokker made fighters?'

'Nooo, day don't,' said Paddy, 'All dese fokkers were fokkin Messerschmitts!'

What's with the paint scheme on the hornet anyone know? Reminds me of the chippy ho scheme on a USN F-18C.....
