Orient Thai 737 Looses Nose Wheel

The LHS nose wheel is found missing on a B737 belonging to Orient Thai after a flight from Phuket to Nanning in China.

I suppose that you have to thank Boeing for designing/engineering a nose wheel assembly that can still land safely on one wheel.

or there is a conspiracy with a group holding nosewheels hostage.

It also happened in July 2009 at Melbourne. A Virgin 737 VH-VBA was taxiing when they heard a thud. A passing aircraft advised the crew that they had lost the right nose wheel.

Reminds me of a Kenny Rogers song. What is it now.

Ah yes "You picked a fine time to leave me loose wheel." :o
