Vh-oji

is -OJI still a 2 class aircraft? A friend who flew in F last week is convinced it was -OJI she flew on

Grahame Hutchison 28th December 2009 08:15 PM

What flight was she on ?

Sarah C 28th December 2009 08:17 PM

I thought OJA to OJE, OJI and OJJ were the only two class 744's, so I think she is right.

QF74

Not sure on the day

Click Here to check out the QF74 registrations.

VH-OEI did the service on the 18/12/2009, where as VH-OJI seemed to stop operating this service back in 2008.

It must have been -OEI

She isn't much of an aviation enthusiast so I should have thought something was up :D

Jason H 28th December 2009 11:27 PM

Grahame, VH-OEI operated QF74 on 16/12, OEB on 18/12

And yes, VH-OJI is 2 class only, the last 2 class aircraft to operate as QF74 was on 5/12 VH-OJB

Grahame Hutchison 29th December 2009 08:15 AM

Hi Jason, my ACARS has the following pickup ....

VH-OEI QF0074 18/12/2009 07:47 Qantas B747-438(ER) San Francisco-Sydney-Melbourne

Dan Hammond 29th December 2009 09:04 AM

If it takes into account the time zone changes it all fits, if OEI left SFO on the 16th USA time, it would arrive in SYD on the 18th AUS time.

Jason H 29th December 2009 11:35 AM

Yes Darren is correct, in fact you both are. QF74 departs on the 16th and arrives on the 18th, so the flight that arrived in SYD on the 18th was OEI, whereas the flight that departs on the 18th was OEB
