Dinner at the DoG - July '17
Folks,
You're all invited for a night of juicy steaks, beer (soft drink for the under 18's), and a night of avgeek chat at the Duke of Gloucester Hotel (The DoG) in Randwick. Directions from YSSY are easy. Go north up Southern Cross Drive and when you see a Shell servo, turn right. At the next Shell servo turn left. At the next Shell servo, park your car and walk across the road. :) I've put a few dates in the attached poll, so if you'd like to attend please nominate which date suits you the best and perhaps also post your intent to go so we know who'll be there! The plan will be to meet at 1800. ***The poll will be open for 20 DAYS ONLY, as I need to coordinate this with my better half's roster!*** |
Yes for me Nigel
|
I'm back in Aus for my 2 weeks off in mid July Nige, so the 16th would work.

I'll fit in with others
All suggested dates are fine with me, as long as we firm up on something in the next week or so ...
|
The poll is now closed.
Dinner at the Duke of Gloucester Hotel in Randwick will be held on Sunday the 16th July - 7pm This dinner invite is open to ALL board members, and I encourage you to come along and perhaps put some faces to names, as well as enjoy a quality steak and an ice cold beer (soft drink for the U18's). See you there! |
For new members, some extra info
For those who have not previously been to the pub, it is at 2 St Marks Rd, Randwick.
You basically choose your raw cut and cook it yourself on a large communal BBQ with sides of your choice such as potato or salad or whatever plus drinks of your choice as well. Everyone pays for their own food and drink so if your budget is a bit stretched you don't have to worry about subsidising Nigel's fillet mignon and champagne! |
Bad news Philip, the cook your own facility is gone now :(
|
Final numbers?
What are the final numbers for tomorrow night, and who is actually coming?
|
I'll be there. First YSSY meet that I will have been to in years.
Mick |
I'll be there!
