Qantas/optus Announcement today
 

Hi guys, coming from the Twitterverse,

Looks good! Out of curiosity, how do airlines decide which aircraft is going to get a special livery, eg why VZD for the Optus?

It depends on the length of the advertising contract and when Qantas think the paintwork may need refurbishing...therefore a new /newly painted aircraft fits the bill.

Not surprised that Optus have got into the action....I am sure Woolworths Supermarkets are very happy with their QF FF link.

Coles would not be happy as Fly Buys is viewed by many as lame duck.

surely then DJ would get "into bed" with Coles(Fly Buys) &/or Telstra ?

Any one have movements for this a/c over the next few days to Mel etc etc?

Just left for Cairns now as QF926.

In my opinion, a very nice fairly large decal I hope it is not short lived liked the Telstra decal on the Jetstar A320.

Does anyone know what routes VH-VZD is flying tomorrow?

Departing to Cairns as QF926 today. First revenue flight with new stickers.
