QF 737-800 Seatback Entetainment Question

Hi,

At what point did QF commence receiving 737-800's with seatback entertainment installed?

Was it from VH-VZL onwards?

What about the eight that were New Zealand registered ZK-ZQ* Do they have it installed?

Thanks,

Steve S

Can't help you with the ZK-ZQ* (although pretty sure yes), but you're right that it's VH-VZL onwards. Although not all are Boeing Sky interiors.

All Jetconnect ZK* have inseat video (8 aircraft)

VZL to VZS (6 aircraft) have inseat video

VZT to XZH (15 Aircraft) have inseat video and Boeing Sky Interior

With the Jetconnect a/c to work out what has what it is worth noting that for every a/c delivered to them a 'rego gap' was left in the Qantas rego block and that ZQA was the first a/c with Qantas/Jetconnect with seat back IFE.

ZK-ZQA=VH-VZF
ZK-ZQB=VH-VZG
ZK-ZQC=VH-VZH
ZK-ZQD=VH-VZI
ZK-ZQE=VH-VZJ
ZK-ZQF=VH-VZK
ZK-ZQG=VH-VZN
ZK-ZQH=VH-VZQ

So based on that no Jetconnect a/c has BSI but all have seat back IFE.

Correct, I believe however that Jetconnect a/c have fabric J class seats rather than leather, unsure though...just a minor difference, I'm certain its the same seat!
