Mike Mangold killed in L-39 crash
 

Former Red Bull Race champion Mike Mangold was killed when the L-39 Albatross he was flying crashed on take off in the US. Another person was also on board and died.

Very sad, I wonder what went wrong, no doubt we will get an idea in due course. Certainly had a busy career, with his own business, also a current AA 767 pilot and before that an instructor on Phantoms in the military.
