As Speedbird 16 rotated yesterday it rolled to the left before straightening it back up once airborne.

You can see the height off the ground of its number 1 engine compared to its number 4. Also its landing gear.

(I understand the bump as I accidentally dropped this post in the wrong place during my lunch time rush...but the rename of the thread to Wild Weather? Yesterday was beautiful. Not an accurate title.)

all the Singapore bound flights ie. QF1 - QF9 , SIA 222 , BA16 etc have been flying very far south yesterday and today over the Great Australian Bight S.A then passing over South Hedland W.A and up towards Singapore , definately some strong winds around NSW:eek:

Not only the strong winds in NSW but strong winds everywhere! You will find that they are heading south because the jet streams are more favourable this time of year!! I'm sure some pilots on here will confirm or add more info to that??
