While I may have regularly disagreed with what he wrote, I am still very sad to hear the news that Aviation Journalist Ben Sandilands has passed away.

Yes, I was sad to read that elsewhere last week even though, like you, I didn't always agree with his views (that said, they were often thought-provoking!).
