United to Nadi?

Air Pacific DQ-FJL in maintenance so United 744's used on some days.

Benny Zheng 30th March 2009 02:48 PM

Ahh thanks !

Where do they get their mantainance done and when will FJL be back? FJK was gone for quite a while so I would assume it will too. Her paint is looking really bad so I hope they repaint the scheme and not the plane:(

Air Pacific 744 heavy maintenance is done at Changi with SIA Engineering Company (both 744's are leased from SIA). DQ-FJL arrived SIN on 11th Feb

Jeff N 30th March 2009 11:24 PM

You would imagine that SIA would provide the replacement aircraft, considering they are the supplier of the leased planes?!

Assuming they had a spare available...

Yes, their fleet of 744's is dwindling. 9V-SPL to Cathay as B-HKX in Jan this year.

DQ-FJL went up on a test flight out of Changi yesterday in standard FJ scheme!

Tim Bowrey 6th April 2009 09:32 PM

Nooooooo!!!

Why would they? Sure its looking old but surely they could repaint like Qantas did the "Wunala Dreaming" scheme.
