Iron maiden 757
Looks like Iron maiden are using a 757 to get around on their current tour. The Australian tour starts in late Feb. Hopefully it makes its way out here.

I'm hoping so too Tony. My friend at work says they are playing in Sydney on the night of the 27th Feb. Should see it on the 26th!!

The lead singer of Iron Maiden, Paul (Bruce) Dickinson is also a pilot for Astraeus Airlines, the operator of the 757 they are using for the tour
|
Any idea which aircraft there are using?same as last tour?
|
It will be G-STRX Phil. On PP forum it was logged over Clacton being filmed in formation with some Jet Provosts! (Surely they could have used more modern a/c:rolleyes:) It still would have been good to see all the same.

Just a heads up, the Bruce Dickinson series 'Heavy Metal' is playing on discovery turbo MAX at the moment.

It appears we just got lucky, Iron Maiden 757 just got a new livery hopefully it's this one they use to Oz!
