AUSTRALIA DAY - QANTAS AIRBUS A380 FLY OVER
SUNDAY, 26 JANUARY 2014 Time: 12:30pm – 1:00pm Location: Sydney Harbour As part of Australia Day celebrations, a Qantas A380 will enter Sydney Harbour via North Head and will descend to 1500ft. It looked spectacular from the farm. A shame about the weather and heavy cloud cover though.

QF6601 was operated by A380 VH-OQE, and the northern leg up to Pittwwter was just to the west of our house, and low, slow and quite.

Missed it this year!
I was just driving East along Lyons Rd at Drummoyne on my way home and caught the end of the U-turn as it headed South East. Annoying as I usually video this each year and for the first time the U-turn was over my place instead of further south/west and I wasn't home to see it! :(
