I found the highlight of "Sully" for me to be the realism of the flight and the landing on the Hudson. Up to just prior to touch down a real A320 would have been used but for the landing and outside evacuation scenes it was extremely authentic to the point of being the real thing. I couldn't pick any flaws in these scenes and looking online a real A320 on a stanchion was used. Not sure if a model was used for any of the actual hitting the water scenes.

The end of the story was a triumph and the whole film very good. In the session I attended, on the second night after commencing, there was applause at the end, which doesn't happen very often these days after a movie. Clint Eastwood has made a riveting film with an excellent cast, headed by Tom Hanks. Highly recommended, not only to the aviation geeks, like myself.
