I don't believe there will be a closure of 34L, unless IKEA get approval to speed up their Tempe superstore! i.e. it won't happen any time soon!
Rwy 07/25 has been in heavily restricted operations since the 15th October last year, and had the lesser restriction of Golf 2 being the last available exit on Rwy 25 for a short time before that. Sydney will be going back to the latter restriction on 15 June.
And just to clarify, Rwy 07/25 has NOT been closed. Sydney's also had 35kt crosswinds in recent months and operations continued on the parallel runways.
