Having flown Delta quite a bit before it was a nice surprise to see their 777 product. I have only been on their 757, 767, 737 and MD80 before this.
Widescreen LCD's and headrests with adjustable wings being 2 key differences.

None of the seats had in seat control panels for reading light, attendant call and volume - instead it was all done through the PTV's touchscreen GUI.

Our track took us south of Fiji and Christmas island with a few little diversions to the left and right of track sue to WX in equatorial areas.

On this sector we flew right over the grand canyon and monument valley. The interior of this old A320 (del 1993) was quite old and tired but it was interesting to see that the ac had been repainted into Delta C/s and was effectively operated as a delta flight. Rebranding of Memphis airport was also complete with the checkin desks, lounge and gate areas all sporting the new delta logo.

I was amazed to see a 2 class config on such a small jet but i guess if Pax are willing to pay you may as well offer it. I must say that I do prefer the 1-2 config of the ERJ as opposed to the 2-2 of the CRJ but a good flight all the same.

Thank god some airlines have started reassigning the futile no smoking sign too - this really seems to make some sense.

I had jeppview flightdeck running on my laptop on approach to KCLT. you can see here that we are being vectored north of the field to land on one of the southbound runways.

Some of the traffic at KCLT:

Hope you enjoyed!

I fly to Wisconsin for the oshkosh airshow this weekend which should be good - watch this space for pics and further trip reports.

Happy landings,
