Zip Ties are now a security threat???
Had a sms from one of the people I work with to say that his bag of zip ties where confiscated from his carry on baggage when it was x-rayed going through Adelaide domestic security.
Now two weeks before, I flew with him and he had his zip ties in the same bag with his side cutters (which where confiscated). Security saw the bag zip ties when searching for the side cutters. The bag of zip ties also went through Alice Spring security on that return trip.
Is this correct or have security gone mad?
