Shame to hear about your bag but I too always carry a spare set of clothes in my carry on for that reason alone.
That hotel looks nice, it would have been even better if it was near Nadi airport
Nadi airport might not have a lot of action, but the open walkways between the terminal and the gates are fabulous, it is something I really miss. It is great for getting photos without obstruction.
