They have 15 -8's on order for Jetstar and have options on 50 -9's. As these are options they could end up anywhere or not arrive at all.

Mick, yes they have been whining about fuel costs, indeed what was the figure this year? Something like 17% higher than last. That doesn't mean they have to run out and buy new aircraft. As I said it would have to be a balance of copping higher fuel costs versus the financing and other sundry costs of new aircraft (especially a new type). Clearly for now Qantas is comfortable with continuing with the 767's which would well and truley have had their purchase costs covered.

I mean to say when fuel went up did you throw away your own perfectly good vehicle and to buy more fuel efficent model?
