My "spy" is real & valid. I won't name him for privacy reasons but will say that he's been at Qantas for at least 20 years in a technical role. I was fortunate enough to be with him on the base last year when some large clouds started rolling in so he took me to the flight deck of a 744 to have a look on the radar, so yes, he's real!
