Ian, for Maho Beach I mainly used my 18-55mm lens. My 55-250mm was too much, I only used it for shots of aircraft banking after departing off RWY10 and aircraft on finals for RWY10.
Neil, it is an awesome place, definitely worth a visit. I would love to go back.
Nathan, thanks for that. Yeah I did some fence surfing. Did it for a UA A320,JetBlue E190 and KLM B744. The UA A320 and JetBlue E190 were both really good. The KLM B744 wasn't that good, I don't think they used full power. But for the others it was great. You really have to hold on, very powerful and it gets quite hot and you have rocks flying at you!
