Thanks NickN for the post. Always fascinating to watch these amazing aircraft being transformed right before your eyes quick-fast!
Gotta say, it must be awesome working in one of those offices inside the factory, have a look out your window and see a new aircraft being put together every single day!

Also, thanks Tim for the airport time-lapse. Although all of us here have done a number of flights, I bet none of us have actually just sat in one place for hours fascinated and interested in everything that goes on. I spent about 7 hours wondering around HNL and was great seeing planes come and go, but nothing like this clip!

Just a question regarding the Southwest Illinois One video, when they actually painted that special livery, from the looks of it, it seems like they simply put layers of tape on as 'drawing lines' and then painting between the lines... was this the case, or was there some high-tech process using CAD-like programs which know where to paint millimetre by millimetre..?

Here's another great time-lapse, this time showing the first 777-200LR for Delta Airlines taking shape from start to finish to test-flight. (Click Here)

Also, another time-lapse showcasing the various stages required in creating the gorgeous Airbus A340-600. (Click Here)
