I thought with the new Northern Summer airline schedules commencing last Sunday that I would summarise the changes I have heard about
:
- Vietnam Airlines flight VN787/786 direct from Hanoi commences 29/3/17 @ 3 services per week - Mon, Wed, Sat. Arrives 12:15 departs 14:15 - 787-9.
Korean Airlines has reverted to A333 but will update to a B744-8 from 2/9/17.
Asiana to operate 5 services per week instead of daily from 2/6/17 - 28/7/17 and will operate A333 replacing B772 from 3/6/17 - 18/7/17.
Scoot has commenced evening flights in lieu of day flights on some services per week, which may be all services - TZ12/11. Arrives 20:45 departs 21:45. It must be a very early arrival in Singapore.
Jetstar flight 61/62 to Ho Chi Minh commences on 11/5/17 @ 4 services per week - Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat ex Sydney - 787-8.
Japan Airlines has updated its aircraft to 787-9. See other post.
Singapore Airlines will continue to operate A380 services twice per day. SQ251/252 does not operate again until 5/5/17 with B772ER 3 services per week, increasing to 5 per week from 2/6/17 and daily from 20/6/17 to 30/9/17 returning to 5 per week. I'm not sure what has happened to SQ261/262 and operating through Jakarta airport while runway works are in progress.
Capital Airlines to commence services from Qingdao from 10/8/17 @ 2 per week - A330. See other post.
Xiamen Airlines will operate additional MF801/802 from Xiamen on Tue & Sat from 24/6/17 - 30/8/17 - 787-8.
