I suspect the peeling is happening right where the aerobridges continually nudge the fuselage.
Because you mentioned Sarah that it was happening between the nose and the door on -OGL as well.
I crewed -VQQ (Sea World) out of AVV on Monday and noticed it was just the poor dolphin on aircraft-left (where the aerobridge attaches) that was peeling, while the shark on the aircraft-right looked OK.
