Default Qantas International/Domestic Lounge Update

Hi,

Thought this would be of interest:

International:

International Business Lounge upgrades are now complete in Sydney, Melbourne, Bangkok, Tokyo and Auckland with Perth to be completed by January 2009. Key features of these refurbishments include increased seating capacity, new contemporary furniture, a signature reception area, and an enhanced buffet selection.
Domestic:

New Domestic Business Lounges are now open in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra domestic terminals, followed by Perth in late 2009. These lounges are in addition to the existing Qantas Clubs which are also undergoing refurbishment.

New Zealand domestic Qantas Clubs in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington have recently been refreshed to match those operating domestically within Australia.

Qantas are currently upgrading lounges in QantasLink ports including rebranding them as Qantas Regional Lounges. Upgrade work commencing with Karratha, Port Hedland, Rockhampton and Mackay, followed shortly by Launceston, Broome and Kalgoorlie.

The Qantas Chairmans Lounge in Sydney Domestic Terminal is undergoing an extensive redevelopment to provide enhanced comfort and space (it has not been refurbished since 1997). Stage one of the new Chairmans Lounge opens on 6 November (with the final stage due for completion in April 2009).
