Morrie's photo just shows '2801'; same scenario with the french military some have numbers but use civil call sign on acars.
Remember the Mexican AF 757 at Apec? Code is TP-01 but also carries XC-UJN. 'Officially' it is the military serial that is normally logged.
Same as the Thai A310 60202, also carries HS-TYQ.
Some spotters log both!
