QANTAS A380 VH-OQI operating the Sydney – Dubai sector of QF1 Sydney – Dubai – London Heathrow was at 31,000 ft to the north west of Parkes when it initiated a rapid descent to 10,000 ft then returned to Sydney for a safe landing. The rapid descent would seem to indicate a pressurisation issue.
