Well considering the recent new of reduction in capacity, Qantas ( as well as other airlines) might actually be a bit relieved at the continual 787 delays, and the slow ramp-up in production of the A380.

Nonetheless, it is a tad eye-opening when a company which is so specialised in aircraft production does stumble so badly... even more eye-opening when the two major players in the commercial aircraft market both stumble.

Ah well, good thing is, once they sort things out, we'll be greeted with nothing be really positive press releases every week as both manufacturers celebrate each and every project milestone and delivery. In the mean time though, it's absolutely amazing to see the once flourish order books of both Boeing and Airbus come to a near standstill..... *tumble weed goes by*....
