Dennis, the answer might be in the Sydney Airport Departures for today which shows on the last entry QF17 departing at 18:25 tomorrow, Monday 24 hours late. This seems unusual in that you would think that QANTAS would turn around either OQJ or OQH who both arrive early in the day in SYD to get the passengers to LAX a bit quicker.
In saying this the Sydney Airport Arrivals for Tuesday has QF18 arriving at 18:10 only 12 hours late. I presume that either the QF11 or QF93 will have a quick turn around in LAX to operate QF18.
