Well, whilst I do NOT work for JQ, I believe that the low load factor reason must be false. The DOTARS figures show that the load factors for HVB-SYD for each month from January this year were 92.1%, 89.4%, 88.3%, 87.0%, 80.1%, 77.3% and 83.8%. All this averages out to 85.1%, making HVB-SYD the fifth highest route in the country in terms of load factor for the year to date. If HVB-SYD was dropped due to poor load factor, then all but 4 other routes in the country must be in trouble
, especially KGI-PER, PER-ZNE, PER-KTA and CBR-SYD, which are all languising at the sub 60% level!
